1. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services and products provided by Mecca Travels (“we”, “us”, “our”, the “Company”) to you, our client (“you”, “your”).
2. By making a booking, paying a deposit or fee, or otherwise using our website, services or products, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
3. We are registered in England and Wales as Mecca Travels Ltd (Company No. 16566588).
4. Our registered office is at 46 Frankwell Drive, Coventry, England, CV2 2FB.
5. For the avoidance of doubt, these Terms apply to all bookings whether for flights, hotel accommodation, pilgrimage packages (e.g., Hajj, Umrah), transport or ancillary services.
Services & Bookings
6. We act as an agent/travel organiser in making arrangements for the services you book. We reserve the right to make changes when necessary, and your rights are described in the “Changes & Cancellations” section below.
7. All bookings must be made using the booking procedures set out on our website (www.meccatravel.co.uk) or as otherwise agreed in writing.
8. You must ensure that all information you provide to us (including names, passport/ID details, contact details, travel preferences) is accurate and complete. We cannot guarantee performance of services if information is incorrect or incomplete.
Payment & Deposits:
9. At the time of booking you must pay the deposit or full payment as specified by us. Failure to pay by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking.
10. Final payment must be made by the date we specify in the booking confirmation; if you fail to make payment, we may treat the booking as cancelled by you.
11. Prices are based on the exchange rates, tariffs and supplier costs at the time of quoting. We reserve the right to increase the price in certain circumstances (see section “Price Changes” below).
Price Changes:
12. We reserve the right to increase the price of your booking after you have paid your deposit but before full payment only in the event of:
a) Changes in exchange rates.
b) Changes in taxes or fees imposed by third-party suppliers (hotels, airlines, transport providers, authorities).
c) Increase in fuel costs.
13. If the price increases by more than [a specified % – e.g., 10%] of the total cost, you may have the right to cancel and receive a refund of payments already made less any non-refundable costs.
Changes & Cancellations:
14. If you wish to change your booking after confirmation, we will endeavour to assist but cannot guarantee any changeable arrangement; any change requested will be subject to supplier terms, availability and additional costs (including administrative fees).
15. We may cancel your booking before departure in which case we will provide you with a full refund of monies paid (subject to the “Refund Policy” section).
16. If you cancel your booking prior to departure, you must notify us in writing. Your cancellation will take effect on the date we receive your written notice. Cancellation will be subject to charges (see “Refund Policy”).
17. If you fail to travel, or arrive late for any reason, we shall not be liable to refund you or provide compensation for unused services.
Travel Documents & Passport/Visas:
18. It is your responsibility to ensure that you hold a valid passport, visas, vaccinations, travel insurance and meet all entry requirements for the country or countries you are visiting.
19. We do not accept liability for losses or costs incurred because you do not obtain or carry the required documentation.
Liability & Insurance
20. We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance covering all aspects of your trip including medical cover, cancellation, curtailment and personal liability.
21. Except as required by law, we shall not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, personal injury or illness, or any other claim unless it is caused by our negligence or breach of contract.
22. Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us for your booking.
Invalidity & Severance
23. If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder will continue to apply in full.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction:
24. These Terms and your booking are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you submit to the courts of England and Wales in respect of any dispute.
Entire Agreement
25. These Terms represent the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your booking, and supersede any prior representations or arrangements.
